Police are warning the public to be more aware of securing their property as an increase in burglary rises during heat-waves
The recent good weather has seen a spate of house break-ins in the North-East of England. Middlesbrough CID, said: “It’s frustrating for us to learn of the figures for last weekend’s break-ins. We repeatedly run campaigns and operations targeting house burglary and putting burglars behind bars. Generally the message is getting across and we are seeing good results.”
